There are a large number of rebates, grants, and assessment services available to businesses of all sizes offered by cities, counties, and energy providers. This is a short list of some of those opportunities.
Hennepin County Business Recycling
Hennepin County provides funding and assistance for businesses and organizations to start or improve programs to divert recyclables and/or organics. Eligible recipients include for-profit businesses and organizations, including multifamily housing, and non-profit organizations. Grant activities must take place in Hennepin County.
Xcel Energy Lighting Retrofit Program
Xcel Energy and the Center for Energy and Environment are now offering lighting efficiency rebates and support for businesses in Minnesota.
The One-Stop Efficiency Shop for lighting upgrades offers enhanced rebates and special services for small and mid-sized business facilities.
Center for Energy and Environment (CEE)
CEE has a variety of programs for businesses which includes whole building assessments, lighting rebates, HVAC rebates and service and free smart thermostats . CEE also can provide finance assistance
CenterPoint Energy
